Welcome to Paris ON,  fondly dubbed as the ‘Cobblestone Capital of Canada’ with numerous cobblestone churches and homes. Located where the Nith River empties into the Grand River, Paris offers numerous rafting adventures, as well as hiking and rail trails. Located in Brant County, the largest municipality of Paris is a short (15 minutes) drive northwest of Brantford, 42 kilometers (40 minutes) drive from Kitchener, and 110 kilometers (1hr 23 minutes) drive from downtown Toronto.

The Paris Fair

The Paris Fair is an annual event hosted at the Paris fairgrounds. This event is recognized as one of the top 100 events by Festivals and Events Ontario. The Paris fair welcomes hundreds of vendors, covering 48 categories, including photography, crafts, fruits and vegetables, and MORE! The Paris Fair is a new experience each year, with a long-term commitment to bring agricultural education and entertainment to residents.

Trails in Paris 

Paris ON boasts over 25 kilometers of trails and pathways to make up some of the most beautiful natural areas in Southern Ontario.

Some famous trails in and around Paris include:

The Distillery Lane Trail, just over 1 kilometer long, runs along the scenic Nith River, opening into the mighty Grand River. 

Cambridge to Paris Trail, spanning 18 kilometers, this trail is finished with fine gravel and is an easy route for bikers and hikers alike.

Winding through lush Carolinian forests, the trails in the Paris area can be a welcomed activity for people of all ages.
