Welcome to Ingersoll ON, founded by the Ingersoll family in 1793. Rich in history and culture, this friendly and welcoming community is famous for the unique mixture of recreational and leisure activities. This includes being home to a multitude of year-round festivals, highlighting the distinctive community of Ingersoll. 

Located just off of exits 216 and 218 of the Highway 401, Ingersoll is  a short drive from Woodstock (8 minutes), London (20 minutes), Kitchener-Waterloo (40 minutes), and downtown Toronto (1 hour and 50 minutes).

Ingersoll Festivals 

Ingersoll is known for their hosting of a multitude of festivals happening almost every month of the year. 

The long list of festivals include:

May Day

Happening in May, this festival welcomes the arrival of Spring with dance, music, and other activities such as wagon rides and sheep shearing!

Great Gazebo Ribfest

Happening in June, this downtown street party features delicious Ingersoll famous food, such as ribs and their most famous export - cheese!

Canterbury Folk Festival

Happening in July, this festival attracts folk artists from all over the world! This festival includes folk workshops, the famous swine and wine pig roast, and of course - live music!

Down on the Farm

Also occurring in July, this festival includes tons of family fun activities, such as pony rides, a tractor pull, and petting zoos.

Harvest Festival

Beginning in August, the Harvest Festival is a five-day celebration of food and community. Including craft stalls, food, entertainment, and free weekend activities for the family. 

Pumpkin Fest

Taking place in October, the Pumpkin Fest features all things pumpkin! This includes pumpkin carving, pumpkin games and crafts, and entertainment!

Passport to the Arts

The Passport to the Arts also takes place in October, where every Ingersoll household is invited to a multitude of fine arts, theatre, literary, music, and craft events!

Moonlight Madness and Downtown Tree Lighting

Beginning in November, the Great Gazebo Christmas Tree is lit by the Ingersoll mayor, where guests can also enjoy warm winter treats and live music. 

Santa's Village and the Festival of Lights

Running from November to January, this winter festival features an award winning lights display through Ingersoll's 5 major parks and into the downtown core. Visitors can also stop by Santa's Village at the Victoria Park Community Centre for family fun activities!
